Insanity: A Heart-felt Apology

 I am not an honest man, I am a sinner. It always takes me a long time to realize my mistakes. I am proud, I am arrogant... and for all the wrong reasons.

I'm sorry, it's that simple. Yet I want you to know it goes deeper than that. I'm done being selfish and stupid, I'm done being arrogant and idiotic. I don't care about redemption, I don't even know if I want you to forgive me. This is to say that I am simply sorry.

Its funny how things could be so predictable yet things still go array. How a single spec of mistake can cause an entire mountain of success crumble. How mere words can ignite a nation's passion and start a revolution. The little things will never cease to amaze you- If you look hard enough.

Empire Streets Chapter 1: The Arrival

 At a brisk pace, he walked. His leathers shoes tippity-tapped across the carpeted floor as he made his way through the insides of the airport. It had almost been a day's worth of flying through the air, his body was weak and his mind was tired yet the nervousness and anxiety kept him going.

He wore black corduroy pants, a gray long-sleeved shirt tucked in, his hair slicked back reaching his neck, and a nervous smile on his lips. He was happy yet uncomfortable at the same time. The feeling of coming home to a foreign land engulfed him.
